Hong Kong Mathematical Society (HKMS) is the official host of the Hong Kong bid for ICM 2030.

ICM 2030 Organizing Committee

The Organizing Committee comprises 25 distinguished scholars drawn from the Chinese Mathematical Society, Hong Kong Mathematical Society, Macau Mathematical Society, and leading universities and research institutes worldwide.

August 2025

Launch the Establishment of the Committee

Initiated by the Hong Kong Mathematical Society, the formation of the Organizing Committee commenced in August 2025, with Prof. Shing-Tung Yau serving as its Chairman. The Committee was formally established with a membership of 25 international scholars.

November 2025

Bid Submitted to IMU

Hong Kong Mathematical Society officially submitted the ICM 2030 bid to the International Mathematical Union.
